Here is a great example of how a plan can be presented in a very accessible format. Marie Anne Smith helped Belinda Bunde put her plan into a newsletter. It's full of great pictures, color and 'pop'. It's a pretty large file, so if you don't have DSL it will take a few minutes to download. |

| Brittany | Brittany is a fun loving teenager and was excited to start her Freshman year of high school when this plan was first written. She shares her home with two brothers and her Mom and Dad. She loves shopping, being with her friends, talking on the phone and modeling. Brittany's plan was done to share more of who she really is and to help others develop a true and meaningful relationship with her. Her plan will be used at school this year to help Brittany explore and develop her gifts and talents. |

| Katherine | Katherine is a young woman in her early 30s whom others have described as charming, whimsical, and a great teacher. She lives at home with her parents in Texas. Her plan was done with her to find more meaningful ways to spend her days, do a better job of hiring the paid people who work with her, and to help others understand how she communicates. Katherine does not use many words to talk but is very clear when you know how to listen to her behavior. She has clear ideas about what is important to her and her plan describes those things. (This is the 3/20/01 update and the plan is in Word format.) |

| Dean | Dean is a handsome young man who has been described as a survivor. He has complex medical needs and his plan was developed so that everything that his caregiver knew about helping him stay alive and happy would be available to anyone else who would support him. Dean does tell you important things about his support but not with words. For example, Dean eats for fun (most nutrition goes in through a g-tube) and loves pudding. If he doesn't eat his pudding at one meal, it means he doesn't feel well. If he doesn't eat his pudding for 2 meals in a row, you should call his doctor. |
